USG whole abdomen report format (male)
A standard normal-study format for ultrasound of the whole abdomen in a male patient, covering the solid organs, biliary system, kidneys, urinary bladder and prostate. Blanks marked __ are the measurements you fill in.
USG WHOLE ABDOMEN
LIVER : Normal in size (__ cm) and echotexture. No focal lesion seen. Intrahepatic biliary radicles are not dilated.
GALL BLADDER : Well distended. Wall thickness is normal. No calculus or sludge seen.
CBD : Normal in calibre.
PORTAL VEIN : Normal in calibre.
PANCREAS : Normal in size and echotexture. Pancreatic duct is not dilated.
SPLEEN : Normal in size (__ cm) and echotexture. No focal lesion seen.
RIGHT KIDNEY : Measures __ x __ cm. Normal in size, position and echotexture. Corticomedullary differentiation is maintained. No calculus or hydronephrosis.
LEFT KIDNEY : Measures __ x __ cm. Normal in size, position and echotexture. Corticomedullary differentiation is maintained. No calculus or hydronephrosis.
URINARY BLADDER : Well distended. Wall thickness is normal. No calculus or mass seen.
PROSTATE : Normal in size (volume __ cc) and echotexture.
No free fluid in the peritoneal cavity. No significant retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy.
IMPRESSION : No significant abnormality detected.
